Deconvolution Estimation in Measurement Error Models: The R Package decon [PDF]
Data from many scientific areas often come with measurement error. Density or distribution function estimation from contaminated data and nonparametric regression with errors in variables are two important topics in measurement error models.

A Li2O‐rich solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) is engineered on graphite through a propylene carbonate‐based electrolyte to spatially regulate Li plating. The homogeneous interphase lowers Li nucleation barriers, promotes conformal Li deposition around graphite particles, and suppresses dendritic accumulation, enabling durable hybrid Li‐ion/Li‐metal ...

While bulk RNA sequencing provides a comprehensive view of transcriptomes, it lacks cell type specificity. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) overcomes this limitation by providing detailed insights at the individual cell level, though it involves ...

Nonparametric confidence bands in deconvolution density estimation [PDF]
Uniform confidence bands for densities f via nonparametric kernel estimates were first constructed by Bickel and Rosenblatt [Ann. Statist. 1, 1071.1095].

MaGSoundDST-3D automatic inversion of magnetic and gravity data based on the differential similarity transform [PDF]
We present an automatic procedure - Magnetic And Gravity SOUNDing Differential Similarity Transform (MaGSoundDST) - for inversion of regular or irregular magnetic- and gravity-grid data measured on even or uneven surfaces.

Polarity‐matched Zr–MOFs program Nafion's nanoscale morphology during solution casting. Hydrophilic UiO‐66 preserves hydrated pathways, while hydrophobic UiO‐67 increases the proton hopping sites by densifying ionic clusters. Combining both fillers yields a membrane that delivers 176 mS cm−1 conductivity, reaches 1.46 W cm−2 under 200 kPa, and triples ...

LINEAR DISCRETE CONVOLUTION AND ITS INVERSE. PART 2. DECONVOLUTION [PDF]
We present here several ways for calculating the linear discrete convolution and its inverse - the deconvolution, by direct methods, generator functions, Z-transform, using matrices and MATLAB.

Deconvoluting heme biosynthesis to target blood-stage malaria parasites
Heme metabolism is central to blood-stage infection by the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. Parasites retain a heme biosynthesis pathway but do not require its activity during infection of heme-rich erythrocytes, where they can scavenge host heme to meet metabolic needs.
