Unlocking Grid Flexibility: Leveraging Mobility Patterns for Electric Vehicle Integration in Ancillary Services

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
The electrification of mobility has introduced considerable challenges to distribution networks due to varying demand patterns in both time and location.

A Circuit of Mechanically Regulated Transcription Factors Balances Regenerative and Fibrotic Memory of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Producing MSCs on rigid culture substrates induces a scar‐making phenotype, jeapordizing therapeutic success. ‘Tissue‐soft’ surfaces prevent MSC fibrogenesis and preserve regenerative traits. An epigenetic network, driven by HOXA11 and SALL1, maintains ‘soft memory’ by keeping chromatin open in relaxed MSCs, promoting anti‐fibrotic programs.

Cueing effects of target location probability and repetition

open access: yes, 2012
The search performance for targets is improved when the targets appear in a specific location more frequently than in other locations. Although this phenomenon, called the “probability cueing effect,” has been reported in past studies, it is unclear ...

Cigarette Smoke‐Induced Alveolar Macrophage Senescence via GEM/SIRT3‐Mediated Mitochondrial Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cigarette smoke accelerates the aging of immune cells in the lung. By combining human single‐cell sequencing, cell culture, and mouse models, the authors show that the protein GEM drives mitochondrial damage and senescence in alveolar macrophages by suppressing SIRT3.

Harnessing MDM2‐Mediated Targeted Degradation of Transcriptional and Epigenetic Machinery to Disrupt Oncogenic Addictions in Pediatric Sarcoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MDM2 dependency in pediatric sarcomas is driven by a novel p53‐independent oncogenic cistrome alongside canonical p53 pathway suppression. This study introduces MDM2‐recruiting transcriptional and epigenetic machinery degraders (MDM2‐TEMADs) as a novel precision oncology modality.

An Effective Target Recovery Method from a Source Location in Geo\ue2Indistinguishable Surroundings

open access: yes, 2019
Location-based services have become increasingly more pervasive in the context of Internet of Vehicles. Nowadays, vehicles can transfer their locations to the server for route planning, attractions searching, location sharing, etc. However, the data that

The Trichinella Super‐Pangenome Reveals the Evolution of Encapsulation and Predicted Host–Parasite Protein Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The muscle capsule of Trichinella is a critical structure that impedes immune attacks and drug penetration, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying its formation remain poorly understood. Using a high‐quality super‐pangenome comprising 12 Trichinella species, we compared extensive genomic variations between encapsulating and non‐encapsulating ...

Investigation of CST7 and hsa-miR-4793-5p gene expression in breast cancer

open access: yesBiochemistry and Biophysics Reports
Breast cancer (BC) presents as a worldwide challenge, known as the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women. In 2022, BC was diagnosed in 2.3 million women with 670,000 deaths globally. In this research, our objective was to examine the CST7 and has-miR-

MEOX1 Coordinates Autocrine‐Paracrine Programs via SPHK1/S1P to Promote Lymph Node Metastasis in Ovarian Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In ovarian cancer, MEOX1 activates the SPHK1/S1P pathway to promote both tumor progression and tumor–stroma crosstalk. MEOX1‐dependent signaling drives CAF activation, enhances VEGF‐C expression, and stimulates lymphangiogenesis, ultimately facilitating lymph node metastasis.
