microRNA‐7‐5p and α‐Synuclein SAA Predict Parkinson's Disease Phenoconversion

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Corroborate blood neuron‐derived extracellular vesicle (NDEV) alpha‐synuclein (αSyn), the CSF αSyn seed amplification assay (αSyn‐SAA), and blood microRNA‐7‐5p (miR‐7‐5p) as markers for Parkinson's disease (PD) phenoconversion and determine if combining these markers would help select subjects who would be more likely to phenoconvert.

Diffusion Basis Spectrum Imaging of Tissue Microstructure and Early Treatment in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Conventional MRI cannot resolve the coexisting pathological processes within multiple sclerosis tissue. Diffusion Basis Spectrum Imaging decomposes the diffusion signal into fiber, cell, and hindered ratios indexing axonal integrity, cellularity, and extracellular space, respectively.

Target-Site and Metabolic Resistance Mechanisms to Penoxsulam in Late Watergrass (Echinochloa phyllopogon) in China

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2023
Echinochloa phyllopogon, a malignant weed in Northeast China’s paddy fields, is currently presenting escalating resistance concerns. Our study centered on the HJHL-715 E. phyllopogon population, which showed heightened resistance to penoxsulam, through a

Monitoring of Target-Site Mutations Conferring Insecticide Resistance in Spodoptera frugiperda [PDF]

open access: yesInsects, 2020
Fall armyworm (FAW), Spodoptera frugiperda, a major pest of corn and native to the Americas, recently invaded (sub)tropical regions worldwide. The intensive use of insecticides and the high adoption of crops expressing Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt ...
