Annual Dynamics of Phytoplankton Communities in Relation to Environmental Factors in Saline–Alkaline Lakes of Northwest China

open access: yesDiversity
To evaluate the change trends of plankton in inland saline–alkaline water bodies, this study investigated the ecological restoration and rational development of saline–alkaline lakes in northwest China.

Seismic damage zone and width–throw scaling along the strike-slip faults in the Ordovician carbonates in the Tarim Basin

open access: yesPetroleum Science, 2019
Understanding the scaling relation of damage zone width with displacement of faults is important for predicting subsurface faulting mechanisms and fluid flow processes.

Tectonic Characteristic and Origin of Tazhong Uplift, Tarim Basin

open access: yesDEStech Transactions on Environment, Energy and Earth Sciences, 2018
This paper presents the analysis on geological characteristics of Tazhong Uplift, such as the configuration and nature of the fault structures, and the aeromagnetic anomaly, etc. The study result shows that Tazhong Uplift presents several large-scale fault belts that mainly extend in three directions: NW, approximate (approx.) EW and NNE.

Biocontrol Effect and Antibacterial Mechanism of Bacillus velezensis TRMB57782 Against Alternaria gaisen Blotch in Korla Pears

open access: yesBiology
Pear black spot disease seriously threatens the pear industry. Currently, its control mainly relies on chemical fungicides while biological control using antagonistic microorganisms represents a promising alternative approach.

Structural evolution of the Northwest Tarim Basin, China

open access: yes, 2010
The sedimentary and structural record of the NW Tarim Basin, China, provides an insight into the amalgamation of Central Asia and is an ideal area in which to examine the impact of an inherited tectonostratigraphic framework on the evolution of foreland fold-thrust belts.

Clockwise rotation of the Tarim basin driven by the Indian plate impact

open access: yesEarth sciences and subsoil use, 2019
: Tarim basin is usually regarded as a rigid tectonic block that resists the northward expansion of the Tibetan plateau that is associated with ongoing northward motion of the Indian plate.
