Airborne inoculum dynamics of Polystigma amygdalinum and progression of almond red leaf blotch disease in Catalonia, NE Spain

Airborne ascospores of Polystigma amygdalinum were monitored daily from 2019 to 2021 in Lleida, NE Spain, and quantified through molecular methods. Ascospores were mainly detected from April to June, and their release was positively correlated with several weather variables related to humidity and rain.
