Two new species of the genusCeratotarsonemus(Acari: Tarsonemidae)
International Journal of Acarology, 1997Two new species of tarsonemid mites, Ceratotarsonemus alasand C. hexagonalis, are described and illustrated. Notes on field characteristics and host relationships as well a key to the species of Ceratotarsonemus are included. Ceratotarsonemus teqmen Lin & Zhang is transfered to the genus Tarsonemus.

A new species of Steneotarsonemus (Acari: Tarsonemidae) from Brazil
Systematic and Applied Acarology, 2006Abstract Steneotarsonemus concavuscutum sp. nov. (Acari: Tarsonemidae) was described from adult females and males collected on Cocos nucifera L. in northeastern Brazil. This species was distinguished from other species of the genus Steneotarsonemus by the strong concave posterior margin of the prodorsal shield of females.
