Abstract The complex refractive index (CRI) of ice is one of the main parameters driving the optical properties of ice clouds and frozen surfaces, hence their climate impact. While already characterized at short wavelengths, ice CRI has never been measured across the infrared range at temperatures relevant to Earth.

A workflow PROV-corpus based on taverna and wings [PDF]

We describe a corpus of provenance traces that we have collected by executing 120 real world scientific workflows. The workflows are from two different workflow systems: Taverna [5] and Wings [3], and 12 different application domains (see Figure 1). Table 1 provides a summary of this PROV-corpus.

Investigation Into the Collection and Isolation Workflows of Extracellular Vesicles From Tears

Sampling and isolation methodology shapes tear extracellular vesicle (tEV) composition, influencing housekeeping gene stability, tetraspanin expression, and cytokine levels. Contact lenses and Schirmer Strips provide complementary molecular signatures, while ExoQuick and ultracentrifugation differ in vesicle yield and surface properties.
