Cypress (Taxodium) Knee Seasonal Growth Is Stimulated by Flood Water Levels and Constrained by the Tree Dormant Season: A 14‐Year Study [PDF]
Cypress knees are woody root structures of cypress trees (Taxodium spp.) that curiously protrude upwards out of the ground. To better understand knee growth characteristics, 30 knees in a southwestern Florida depressional cypress swamp were measured ...

The revelation of genomic breed composition using target capture sequencing: a case of Taxodium [PDF]
Taxodium plants have good flood tolerance and thus were introduced into China from North America in the early 1900s. The subsequent decades of cross-breeding experiments within Taxodium have produced many new hybrid cultivars in China while also creating

Expanded application to plant reproductive tissues of a branched DNA probe-based in situ hybridization method. [PDF]
Abstract Premise Detecting clear tissue‐ and organ‐specific patterns of gene expression is key to understanding the genetic mechanisms that control plant development. In situ hybridization (ISH) of mRNA is one of the most precise, yet most challenging approaches to gene expression assays.

Chemical Constituents of Taxodium mucronatum (Cupressaceae) and Some of Its Endophytic Fungi, and Their In Silico and In Vitro Evaluations as SARS-CoV-2 Inhibitors and as Cytotoxic Agents. [PDF]
Abietanes, pimaranes and cycloartanes were characterized from different plant tissues of Taxodium mucronatum. Curvularins, mycophenolic acids and ergosterol were isolated from some fungal endophytes. The isolated compounds were in silico and in vitro evaluated as antiviral and cytotoxic agents.
