Taxonomic Revision of the Genus Trichinella

The Journal of Parasitology, 1992
The analysis of genetic, biochemical, and biological data on about 300 Trichinella isolates, reported in the literature, allows a taxonomic revision of this genus. We propose the recognition of 5 sibling species, Trichinella spiralis (Owen, 1835) sensu stricto; Trichinella nativa Britov and Boev, 1972; Trichinella pseudospiralis Garkavi, 1972 ...

Towards a taxonomic revision of the genus Echinococcus

Trends in Parasitology, 2002
Echinococcus remains a significant public health problem worldwide and, in several regions, the aetiological agents of cystic hydatid disease/echinococcosis are extending their range. A Taxonomic Revision of Boas (Serpentes: Boidae)

Zootaxa, 2014
Large molecular datasets including many species and loci have greatly improved our knowledge of snake phylogeny, particularly within the group including boas (Table 1). Recent taxonomic revisions using molecular phylogenies have clarified some of the previously contentious nomenclature of the group (Wilcox et al. 2002; Lawson et al. 2004; Burbrink 2005;

A taxonomic revision of Pedicularis inflexirostris

In the study of Pedicularis L. plant taxonomy, we found that species have synonymous relationships. Pedicularis inflexirostris F. S. Yang has morphological similarities with Pedicularis komarowii Bonati. After in-depth morphological research, combined with original literature, type specimens, and field surveys, we found that the above two species of ...
