Performance of a solution of the direct geodetic problem by Taylor series of Cartesian coordinates

open access: yesJournal of Geodetic Science, 2021
The direct geodetic problem is regarded on the biaxial and triaxial ellipsoid. A known solution method suitable for low eccentricities, which uses differential equations in Cartesian coordinates and Taylor series expansions of these coordinates, is ...

Determinants of Knowledge and Usage of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Agricultural Extension: Evidence From Tennessee Extension Personnel

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines the determinants of generative AI (GenAI) knowledge and usage among agricultural extension professionals. Drawing on survey data from agricultural extension personnel in Tennessee, we employ regression analyses and latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) for topic modeling of open‐ended responses to study the knowledge and usage ...

Multifactor Risk Stratification for Post‐Transplant Alcohol Relapse Using Abstinence, Psychosocial, and Socioeconomic Factors

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Alcohol relapse after liver transplantation is difficult to predict using abstinence duration alone. We developed a multifactor model integrating abstinence duration, psychosocial risk (SIPAT), and socioeconomic context (AUC 0.70). This approach may support individualized risk assessment and tailored follow‐up intensity; external validation is needed ...

Dictionary‐based weak‐form training for noise‐robust series hybrid models with multiplicative unknowns

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hybrid modeling combines first‐principles equations with a data‐driven subcomponent. Training for the data‐driven part is sensitive to measurement noise when training targets are constructed using pointwise time derivatives. Beyond differentiation errors, hybrid models involve solving an inverse problem to estimate the data‐driven term, which ...

Inverse Vulcanization Through Epoxide Chemistry: A Low Temperature Non‐Olefin Route to Sulfur‐Rich Polymer Networks

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Epoxide monomers undergo base‐catalyzed ring‐opening copolymerization with elemental sulfur to afford sulfur‐rich polymers under mild conditions. The resulting materials exhibit excellent mechanical performance, strong adhesion (up to 10 MPa on stainless steel), and outstanding reprocessability.

EMPLOYING DIFFERENT TYPES OF TAYLOR-LIKE METHODS FOR IMAGE PROCESSING AND INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Information Technology and Multimedia, 2014
Many articles have addressed different methods to solve numerical problems but in this paper, Sine-Cosine- Taylor like, Cosine Taylor like and Explicit Taylor like methods are used which is utmost importance to solve image processing and initial value ...

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...
