High‐Detectivity InGaAs/GaAsP Superlattice PIN Photodetector with a Thin Absorber on GaAs substrate for 1100 nm Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A high‐performance strain‐compensated InGaAs/GaAsP superlattice SWIR photodetector was successfully grown by MOCVD on a scalable 100 mm GaAs platform. Combining excellent structural quality with strong optoelectronic performance, the device delivers a low dark current density of 2.3 × 10−7 A/cm2 and a detectivity of 1.9 × 1011 Jones at 1100 nm ...

Boundary TBA, trees and loops

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2019
We derive a graph expansion for the thermal partition function of solvable two-dimensional models with boundaries. This expansion of the integration measure over the virtual particles winding around the time cycle is obtained with the help of the matrix ...

Vertical Price Transmission in Food Markets: New Evidence From Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A growing body of empirical research has examined price dynamics along the food supply chain, yet findings remain heterogeneous and often conflicting. This study conducts a meta‐analysis of 140 studies, totaling 652 observations, to examine (1) the reported presence of asymmetric price transmission and (2) the reported direction of price ...

Sappanwood extract modulates hepatic structure–function in hepatomegaly and hepcidin related iron regulatory pathways in a phenylhydrazine induced hemolytic anemia rat model relevant to thalassemia

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Phenylhydrazine (PHZ) induces hemolytic anemia characterized by increased erythrocyte destruction and ineffective erythropoiesis, leading to hepcidin suppression through disruption of the BMP/SMAD signaling pathway. Reduced hepcidin levels enhance intestinal iron absorption and hepatic iron accumulation, leading to hepatic iron overload.

A modified D‐galactose‐induced aging rat model with low‐dose intraperitoneal ozone: Redox, functional, and skin outcomes

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Male Wistar rats were subjected to d‐galactose‐induced aging, with or without intermittent low‐dose intraperitoneal ozone administration, and evaluated over 8 weeks for redox status and physical performance, including physical health score, morbidity proportion, body weight, muscle strength, hair regrowth, and skin outcome.

Water-soluble products of UV-irradiated, autoxidized linoleic and linolenic acids

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1966
The water-soluble products of the UV-initiated autoxidation of linoleic and linolenic acids emulsified in water were separated into volatile and relatively involatile components, each of which reacted with both thiobarbituric acid (TBA) and peroxidase ...

Multi‐Responsive Bowl‐Shaped Janus Nanomotors Based on Polyitaconic acid/Polypyrrole on the Surface of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles with Chemical, Electrical, and Magnetic Field Actuation for Targeted Drug Delivery Applications

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Bowl‐shaped Janus nanomotors with platinum, iron oxide, and polypyrrole integrate catalytic, magnetic, and electric propulsion for targeted drug delivery. They demonstrate controlled, directional motion under varying pH and hydrogen peroxide conditions, with optimal performance in neutral media.

Tert-butylamine adsorption on biodiesel-exposed phosphorus bronze for improving the stability of phosphorus bronze and biodiesel molecules

open access: yesFuel Processing Technology
This study examines the adsorption behaviour of tert-butylamine (TBA) on phosphorus bronze (PB) exposed to palm biodiesel and evaluates its effectiveness in mitigating both metal corrosion and biodiesel degradation.

COMPARATIVE EFFICIENCY OF DIFFERENT ANTIOXIDANTS ON FAT STABILITY IN BROILER RATIONS: THIOBARBITURIC ACID VALUES

open access: yesPakistan Veterinary Journal, 2002
Thiobarbituric acid (TBA) value was significantly (P< 0.05) affected by storage period, fat levels and antioxidants but the interaction of these factors was non significant.
