Total cost of ownership factors in procurement and technology economic assessment: A systematic literature review [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Total Cost of Ownership is an excellent method for understanding the true cost of buying goods or services from a particular supplier. This approach considers buying costs and takes the costs that arise during the operation and disposal phases of an ...

Evaluation of a 68Ga-Labeled DOTA-Tetrazine as a PET Alternative to 111In-SPECT Pretargeted Imaging

open access: yesMolecules, 2020
The bioorthogonal reaction between a tetrazine and strained trans-cyclooctene (TCO) has garnered success in pretargeted imaging. This reaction was first validated in nuclear imaging using an 111In-labeled 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10 ...

Alcohol‐Adduct Mediated Precursor Stabilization Strategies for Conformal SnO2 Layers in Highly Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Modules

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
An alcohol‐adduct‐mediated strategy is employed to stabilize tin isopropoxide for the formation of a homogeneous double electron transport layer (ETL) incorporating SnO2 nanoparticles (NPs). This double‐ETL exhibits improved optical and charge‐transport properties due to reduced defect density and better energy level alignment, resulting in high ...

MXene‐Derived Highly Oriented TiN Enables Ta3N5 Photoanodes for Transmission‐Mode Bias‐Free Solar Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports 2D MXene‐derived TiN thin films with (111)‐preferred orientation for transparent Ta3N5 photoanodes, demonstrating effective electron transfer behavior. All‐nitride electron‐collection architecture based on MXene‐derived TiN and n‐GaN resolves a long‐standing materials bottleneck between photocarrier transport and light transmission in

Reconfiguring Fresh Produce Supply Chains in Response to Drought Risk: Evidence From the U.S. Broccoli Market

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drought is among the most severe and persistent threats to food supply chains, and relocating production to less drought‐prone regions offers a strategy to reduce this risk. This is particularly relevant for fresh vegetables, which are highly water‐intensive, yet drought‐driven reconfiguration strategies remain understudied.

Materials Representation Learning Based on a Material–Motif Network and Heterogeneous Graphs

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Structure motifs in materials are used to construct a bipartite material–motif network that links each material to its constituent motifs and establishes connectivity among materials sharing common motifs. Network analysis reveals material clusters associated with different functional applications and supports motif‐guided screening of materials.

Total Cost of Ownership Prediction in Chilled Water Plants: Contributing Factors and Role of Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study investigates key parameters and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in predicting the total cost of ownership (TCO) for chilled water plants (CWPs). Forecasting the TCO of CWPs is challenging due to the diverse and dynamic factors and
