Block Copolymers From δ‐Tetradecalactone and Lactide: Synthesis, Self‐Assembly, and Ready Biodegradation Test

Various new block copolymers of TDL and LA were produced through sequential polymerization. Some of them were shown to self‐assemble in nonpolar media such as isododecane, with particle formation. Their biodegradability was evaluated under OECD 301F conditions, and they can be slowly biodegraded only for short PLA blocks.

The noise characteristics of the TDL were studied for frequencies less than 20 kHz. For heterodyne applications, the high frequency ( 1 MHz) characteristics are also important.
