ENHANCEMENT OF CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS (CDMA) WITHIN THE GSM SYSTEM IN IRAQ
Despite the widespread adoption of Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) in Iraq, the network's capacity and performance limitations have become increasingly apparent, particularly in urban areas with high user density. Currently, LTE (4G) is the

Self-stabilizing TDMA Algorithms for Wireless Ad-hoc Networks without External Reference
Time division multiple access (TDMA) is a method for sharing communication media. In wireless communications, TDMA algorithms often divide the radio time into timeslots of uniform size, $\xi$, and then combine them into frames of uniform size, $\tau$. We

Current brain‐inspired computing chips require complex additional circuits to operate effectively, making them bulky and inefficient. We have created a single adjustable artificial neuron device made from MoS2 that can dynamically modulate its behavior on demand, eliminating the need for extra circuits and enabling it to process different types of ...

ECS: Efficient Communication Scheduling for Underwater Sensor Networks
TDMA protocols have attracted a lot of attention for underwater acoustic sensor networks (UWSNs), because of the unique characteristics of acoustic signal propagation such as great energy consumption in transmission, long propagation delay and long ...

Wavelength switched hybrid TDMA/WDM (TWDM) PON: a flexible next-generation optical access solution [PDF]
In this paper, we propose the system concepts of a next-generation wavelength switched hybrid time division multiple access and wavelength division multiplexing (TWDM) passive optical network (PON) architecture. In this architecture, wavelength selective

Savannah and Boreal Biomass Burning as a Source for Cloud Condensation Nuclei
Abstract Aerosol particles emitted in wildfires can contribute to radiative forcing via aerosol‐cloud interactions and by directly interacting with solar radiation. Wildfire emissions increase the concentration of cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) in the atmosphere and thus affect cloud properties (e.g., cloud brightness).

A TDMA Scheme for Mobile Sensor Networks
We propose a TDMA-based protocol for mobile sensor networks. The proposed protocol overcomes the shortcomings of the other available TDMA-based protocols in a dynamic network where the cluster membership may change frequently.

Minimizing Age of Information in Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks
We consider the uplink of an energy harvesting (EH) wireless sensor network (WSN) where N single-antenna sensors communicate with a common fusion center (FC) with the aim of cooperatively minimizing the overall average age of information (AoI ...

All‐perovskite tandem solar cells are evaluated under low‐intensity and low‐temperature (LILT) conditions relevant to space environments. Distinct loss regimes emerge, where weaker entropic mixing causes halide segragation below ≈240 K going along with a strong current imbalance, while poor electron transport in C60 dominates.
