Numerical Analysis and Optimization of a Continuous‐Flow pH‐TRC for Steady‐State Low‐Grade Waste Heat Recovery

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A steady‐state numerical model is established for a continuous‐flow pH‐TRC for low‐grade waste heat recovery. Based on carbonate and bicarbonate electrolytes, the influences of operating conditions and electrode structure on pH‐driven power generation are clarified.

Implementation of guideline‐recommended medical therapy for patients with heart failure in Europe

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 790-798, April 2025.
Abstract Physicians' adherence to guideline‐recommended heart failure (HF) treatment remains suboptimal, especially regarding the target doses. In particular, there is evidence that non‐cardiologists are less compliant with HF guideline recommendations. This is likely to have a detrimental impact on patients' survival, readmissions and quality of life.

Management of Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome: A survey of US pediatric hospitals

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To evaluate the management practices of Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS) across tertiary pediatric hospitals in the United States using a survey‐based approach. Methods A 21‐question survey focused on management setting, work‐up, follow‐up and treatment was created and sent to 45 member institutions of the Pediatric ...

Arterial Perivascular Space‐Mediated Solute Transport in the Mouse Brain

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
The mechanisms underlying solute clearance from the brain parenchyma remain debated, with competing hypotheses involving bulk cerebrospinal fluid flow versus perivascular transport. Using multimodal in vivo imaging and computational modeling in mice, this study demonstrates that arterial pulsation drives bidirectional solute movement within the ...

Thermally activated delayed fluorescence exciplex sensitizers with fast reverse intersystem crossing for improving efficiency stability of organic light‐emitting diodes based on multi‐resonance emitters

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Two exciplex emitters are constructed based on a host‐guest doping strategy, and their exciton dynamics processes are investigated in depth. High‐performance OLEDs are fabricated by employing these exciplexes as emitters or sensitizers, providing excellent electroluminescence efficiencies and low efficiency roll‐offs.
