Surface Electromagnetic TE-Waves Total Internal Reflection
We have considered the refraction of surface electromagnetic waves (SEW) at the heterogeneous metasurface. The considered structure consists of three regions: mu-negative metamaterial, ordinary magnetic, and vacuum.

TE Wave Measurement and Modeling
In the TE wave method, microwaves are coupled into the beam-pipe and the effect of the electron cloud on these microwaves is measured. An electron cloud (EC) density can then be calculated from this measurement. There are two analysis methods currently in use.

Tunable surface electromagnetic waves at a graphene-hypercrystal boundary under magnetic bias. [PDF]
Transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) surface electromagnetic waves supported by a graphene–hypercrystal interface are studied in the presence of an external static magnetic field. The system consists of a graphene monolayer placed at the

Focused Shear Wave Elastography to Assess Liver Fibrosis in Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease. [PDF]
Background and Aims: Liver fibrosis assessment using transient elastography (TE) or 2-dimensional shear wave elastography (2DSWE) exhibits high rates of failure and unreliability in patients with obesity. Novel focused shear wave elastography (fSWE) aims

Historic transposon mobilisation waves create distinct pools of adaptive variants in a major crop pathogen. [PDF]
Transposable elements (TEs) shape host-pathogen interactions and contribute to antimicrobial resistance, but how adaptive TEs arise in populations and how historical contingencies affect TE dynamics remains unclear.

Image reconstruction of buried dielectric cylinders by TE wave illumination [PDF]
The inverse scattering of buried dielectric cylinders by transverse electric (TE) wave illumination is investigated. Dielectric cylinders of unknown permittivities are buried in one half space and scatter a group of unrelated TE waves incident from another half space where the scattered field is recorded.
