Tl2[Te2O6]: The First Mixed‐Valent Oxidotellurate(IV/VI) of Thallium(I)
The layered crystal structure of the mixed‐valent thallium(I) oxidotellurate(IV/VI), Tl2[Te2O6]. Single crystals of Tl2[Te2O6] were grown hydrothermally at 220 °C starting from telluric acid and elemental thallium, whereas single‐phase microcrystalline material was obtained from solid‐state reactions between Tl2CO3, Tl2O3, and TeO2 in evacuated silica ...

Complementary methodologies for thin film characterization in one tool - a novel instrument for 450 mm wafers [PDF]
The scaling down of critical dimensions for the manufacturing of nanoelectronics requires the continuous introduction of new materials. The results of the analysis of thin high-k films made from Al2O3 as reference samples were used at multiple ...

Whole liver phase‐based R2 mapping in liver iron overload within a breath‐hold
Abstract Purpose Diagnosis and treatment monitoring of iron overload increasingly relies on non‐invasive MRI‐based measurement of liver iron concentration (LIC). Liver R2 mapping is known to correlate well with LIC. However, traditional spin‐echo based R2 mapping methods have drawbacks such as long acquisition times and limited volumetric coverage.

Phase transformation in the system TlBi(Te1-xSex)(2)
TlBiTe2 and TlBiSe2 -that are ternary analogs of the IV-VI semiconductors-, although they crystallize in the same space group R (3) over barm (D-3d(5)), exhibit different behaviour during heating.
