Evaluación de la zona de influencia de la troncal de transporte público San José-Sabanilla-La Campiña

open access: yesInfraestructura Vial, 2020
La falta de ordenamiento territorial en la Gran Área Metropolitana (GAM) de Costa Rica ha provocado que el crecimiento urbano se haya dado de forma dispersa y desordenada (Rodríguez, 2017).

Anisotropic metamaterials for scalable photonic integrated circuits: a review on subwavelength gratings for high‐density integration

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 14, Issue 9, Page 1311-1331, April 2025.
Abstract Photonic integrated circuits (PICs) are transforming optical technology by miniaturizing complex photonic elements and systems onto single chips. However, scaling PICs to higher densities is constrained by optical crosstalk and device separation requirements, limiting both performance and size. Recent advancements in anisotropic metamaterials,

The Orange Ribbon and the Pitiful Child: Investigating Child Abuse, Family Normativity and the Welfare State in Japan

open access: yesChildren &Society, Volume 39, Issue 2, Page 568-578, March 2025.
ABSTRACT For over 15 years the Japanese government has promoted a national campaign on child abuse awareness and tasked authorities with addressing rising child abuse reports. With an orange ribbon as its symbol, a key aspect of this campaign, alongside casework, is the creation and circulation of visual‐discursive representations of abused children ...

Machine Learning‐Based Glycolipid Metabolism Gene Signature Predicts Prognosis and Immune Landscape in Oesophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 29, Issue 6, March 2025.
ABSTRACT Using machine learning approaches, we developed and validated a novel prognostic model for oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) based on glycolipid metabolism‐related genes. Through integrated analysis of TCGA and GEO datasets, we established a robust 15‐gene signature that effectively stratified patients into distinct risk groups.

Exploring the Effects of Cerebellar tDCS on Brain Connectivity Using Resting‐State fMRI

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2025.
Cerebellar tDCS during the resting state increased functional connectivity between the cerebellar Crus II and the right inferior frontal gyrus during active tDCS compared to sham stimulation. In addition, we found an interaction between electric field strength and autism quotient scores, suggesting functional connectivity changes based on individual ...

Mezclas asfálticas modificadas con un elastómero (caucho) y un plastómero (tiras de bolsas de leche con asfalto 80-100)

open access: yesInfraestructura Vial, 2012
La adición de productos industrializados como el caucho y el plástico podrían hacer parte constitutiva de la estructura de un pavimento al dar a las mezclas asfálticas un mejor comportamiento mecánico y por ende una mayor duración de vida.
