Monolithically Integrated Fourier Injected REsonator (FIRE) for Passive Coherent Laser Combination
Semiconductor diode‐based Fourier Injected REsonator (FIRE). The concept of free space FIRE, formerly known as the self‐Fourier cavity, is demonstrated for the first time on a chip‐scale device. A very high laser array coherence (97.7% fringe visibility), corresponding to single out‐of‐phase supermode operation, is reported.
