Technetium-sulfur colloid

International Journal of Radiation Applications and Instrumentation. Part A. Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 1986
The chemistry of the technetium-sulfur colloid produced by the reaction of sodium thiosulfate with acid was investigated. A commercial kit was duplicated, and analyses of elemental sulfur, bisulfite and residual thiosulfate were carried out. The colloidal dispersions were filtered through Nuclepore graded membranes, and the percentages of sulfur and of

Chemistry of technetium 99m

Seminars in Nuclear Medicine, 1974
The detection of a number of impurities in 99m Tc effluents from 99 Mo generators is important for proper use of the generator systems. Their identification is described in this review. Technetium in sulfur colloid is probably present as Tc 2 S 7 .

Technetium(III), Technetium(II), and Technetium(I) Complexes with Pyridine Ligands. Can Pyridine Coordination Stabilize the Low Oxidation States of Technetium?

Inorganic Chemistry, 1996
The substitution chemistry of TcCl(3)(PPh(3))(2)(CH(3)CN) is rather facile relative to the analogous rhenium complex, since both the chloride and phosphine ligands are easily substituted for various pyridine ligands. Consequently a series of Tc(III) complexes with amine, pyridine, and polypyridyl ligands were prepared and characterized by (1)H NMR and ...

Application of Electron Microscopy in the Observation of Technetium and Technetium Dioxide Nanostructures

Inorganic Chemistry, 2008
Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was applied to characterize the microstructure of Tc metal and technetium dioxide synthesized by the decomposition of NH(4)TcO(4). The morphology of the Tc metal and well-resolved TcO(2) particles were characterized using bright-field TEM and scanning TEM modes.

The composition and structure of technetium nitride and technetium borides

Journal of the Less Common Metals, 1964
Analysis of Tc heated in nitrogen in the temperature range 400 -900 deg C revealed no change in the lattice constants of the metal. When heated in ammonia in the range 7001100 deg C, lattice constants increased to an extent depending on the amount of nitrogen absorbed.

[Technetium polyphosphate and technetium diphosphonate. A comparative study].

Nuclear-Medizin, 1975
99mTc-labelled phosphates are the bone seeking agents of choice. The comparison of 99mTc-polyphosphate (Poly-P) and 99mTc-ethane-1-hydroxy-1,1-diphosphonate (EHDP) shows a better in vitro stability of the latter during the first two hours after preparation.
