Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Virtual or In‐Person: Does It Matter? Comparing Pain, Function, Quality of Life, Self‐Efficacy, and Physical Function Outcomes of Virtual, Hybrid, and In‐Person Education and Exercise Program Participants

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study aimed to determine if program format (in‐person, virtual, or hybrid) results in differences in 3‐month outcomes of pain, function, quality of life, self‐efficacy, and chair stands in a hip/knee osteoarthritis‐management program. Methods A secondary analysis of the Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark (GLA:D) Canada database was

Aspects of power corrections in hadron-hadron collisions

open access: yes, 2007
The program of understanding inverse-power law corrections to event shapes and energy flow observables in e+ e- annihilation to two jets and DIS (1+1) jets has been a significant success of QCD phenomenology over the last decade.

Successful technical trading agents using genetic programming. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Genetic programming (GP) has proved to be a highly versatile and useful tool for identifying relationships in data for which a more precise theoretical construct is unavailable. In this project, we use a GP search to develop trading strategies for agent based economic models.

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...
