The LHC potential of vector-like quark doublets

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
The existence of new vector-like quarks is often predicted by models of new physics beyond the Standard Model, and the development of discovery strategies at colliders is the object of an intense effort from the high-energy community.

Discovering Technicolor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We provide a pedagogical introduction to extensions of the Standard Model in which the Higgs is composite. These extensions are known as models of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking or, in brief, Technicolor.

Field theory as a tool to constrain new physics models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
One of the major problems in developing new physics scenarios is that very often the parameters can be adjusted such that in perturbation theory almost all experimental low-energy results can be accommodated.

Collider tests of the Renormalizable Coloron Model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
The coloron, a massive version of the gluon present in gauge extensions of QCD, has been searched for at the LHC as a dijet or top quark pair resonance.

Mixed dark matter from technicolor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We study natural composite cold dark matter candidates which are pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone bosons (pNGB) in models of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking.

Technicolor walks at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We analyze the potential of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) to observe signatures of phenomenologically viable walking technicolor models. We study and compare the Drell-Yan and vector boson fusion mechanisms for the production of composite heavy vectors.

Anthropic Principle’s Predicting Symmetric Distribution Matter Strata, Their Physics Laws, and Verifications

open access: yesAdvances in Astronomy, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
This paper shows anthropic principle’s predicting symmetric distribution matter strata, their physics laws, and verifications, concretely deduces characteristic time, energy, and temperature expressions at different scales, discovers four interesting invariant quantities, shows homeomorphic theorem of space map, and naturally presents a supersymmetric ...

Electroweak symmetry breaking and collider signatures in the next-to-minimal composite Higgs model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We conduct a detailed numerical analysis of the composite pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone Higgs model based on the next-to-minimal coset SO(6)/SO(5) ≅ SU(4)/Sp(4), featuring an additional SM singlet scalar in the spectrum, which we allow to mix with the Higgs ...

isotriplet Technicolor Interacting Massive Particle as Dark Matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We suggest that a weak isotriplet composite scalar possessing an unbroken U(1) global symmetry naturally arises in technicolor models leading to an interesting type of dark matter candidate: the iTIMP. We propose explicit models of the iTIMP, study earth

An Analysis of a Minimal Vectorlike Extension of the Standard Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
We analyze an extension of the Standard Model with an additional SU(2) hypercolor gauge group keeping the Higgs boson as a fundamental field. Vectorlike interactions of new hyperquarks with the intermediate vector bosons are explicitly constructed. We also consider pseudo‐Nambu–Goldstone bosons caused by the symmetry breaking SU(4) → Sp(4).
