Ultra-high angular resolution measurements in X-ray astronomy by means of occultation techniques
Acta Astronautica, 1987Abstract Occultations can provide information concerning angular structure of celestial X-ray sources. For angular scales near or exceeding one arcsec they offer no advantage over other available methods such as focusing optics and coded masks, yet fundamental difficulties preclude using either of those methods to reach milli-arcsec resolution.
