Polychromatic processing technique for color image transparencies

open access: yesApplied Optics, 1980
A technique of spatial encoding color photographic image in a black and white tran-sparency for coherent polychromatic processing is presented. The applications of this technique to color image signal detection, restoration of color blurred images, and color image addition and subtraction are provided.

Cardiac image processing techniques

open access: yesCardiometry, 2014
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the modern world. Cardiac image processing is now routinely applied for detecting, classification and diagnosis of heart diseases. One of the most common uses of processing methods that are now widely applied are cardiac segmentation [1] and registration methods [2], that are used in order to extract the ...

Image processing techniques for speech signal processing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The purpose of this research is to examine the use of visual representation and image processing techniques for speech processing applications. This is inspired by the fact that human spectrogram readers can rely solely on visual cues in the spectrogram to perform recognition of words, even in the presence of differing channels and speakers.

Exploring Image Processing and Image Restoration Techniques

open access: yesThe International Journal of Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Systems, 2015
Because of the development of computers and high-technology applications, all devices that we use have become more intelligent. In recent years, security and surveillance systems have become more complicated as well. Before new technologies included video surveillance systems, security cameras were used only for recording events as they occurred, and a

Image Processing Techniques: A Review

open access: yes, 2023
Following recent trends, the domain of Image Processing is growing vastly. The modern world is becoming more and more digital, and hence the need for Digital Image Processing is essential in order to provide more effective solutions such as an image with better resolution and clarity or an image in compressed form to reduce the space it occupies. Image Enhancement Techniques in Digital Image Processing

open access: yesInternational Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering, 2019
The procedure of image enhancement was to adjusting two or more pictures of the same scene. This procedure worried with assigning one picture as the reference also applying geometric change to alternate pictures so they adjust to suggestion. Ordinarily, the pictures are caught under variable conditions that can change camera setting.

Image processing techniques for acoustic images

open access: yes, 1991
The primary goal of this research is to test the effectiveness of various image processing techniques applied to acoustic images generated in MATLAB. The simulated acoustic images have the same characteristics as those generated by a computer model of a high resolution imaging sonar.
