Techniques of Image Processing

2020
In a computer vision application, images are normally ingested from their source, such as cameras, files stored on a computer disk, or streams from another application. In most cases, these input images are converted from one form into another. For example, we may need to resize, rotate, or change their colors.

Image Processing Techniques for Glaucoma Detection

2011
Glaucoma is a disease caused due to neurodegeneration of the optic nerve which leads to blindness. It can be evaluated by monitoring intra ocular pressure (IOP), visual field and the optic disc appearance (cup-to-disc ratio). Glaucoma increases the cup to disc ratio (CDR), affecting the peripheral vision loss.

Wood surface analysis with image processing techniques

2014 22nd Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2014
In this study, quality of class of final product is intended to automatically determine by setting properly distribution and number of defects on wood. Nowadays number of defects and quality of wood is determined by their distribution. The most common type of defect is called knot by reducing the resistance of a wooden part.

Adaptive Image Processing Techniques

SPIE Proceedings, 1988
Adaptive image processing schemes can be classified as open-loop, input sensing, invariant-expectation, and model reference systems. Two major adaptive image processing system mechanisms, processing status measurement and parameter adjustment, are described and a multi-resolution approach is developed.

Imaging Techniques and Processes

1980
Two important imaging processes undertaken in radiography are subtraction and duplication and these will be discussed. Furthermore, the dividing line between radiographic technique and radiographic photography is indistinct and important imaging principles are involved in certain techniques which up to now have either not been mentioned or only briefly
