On the detectability of quasi-circular co-orbital planets. Application to the radial velocity technique.

2015
Several celestial bodies in co-orbital configurations exist in the Solar System. However, co-orbital exoplanets are yet to be discovered. This lack may result from a degeneracy between the signal induced by coorbital planets and other orbital configurations.

Quality Assessment Techniques Applied to Surface Radial Velocity Maps Obtained from High-Frequency Radars

Journal of Atmospheric and Oceanic Technology, 2015
AbstractThis paper presents examples of the data quality assessment of surface radial velocity maps obtained from shore-based single and multiple high-frequency radars (HFRs) using statistical and dynamical approaches in a hindcast mode. Since a single radial velocity map contains partial information regarding a true current field, archived radial ...

Identification of radial velocity profiles in bubbly-droplet annual flows by non-intrusive stochastic analysis techniques

1984
By employing visible lightbeams as the non-intrusive information carrier, a large number of stationary and adiabatic annular flows with bubbles in the liquid ring and droplets in the central core were investigated by stochastic analysis techniques in two air-water loops.
