A Dynamic Contrast‐Enhanced MRI‐Based Vision Transformer Model for Distinguishing HER2‐Zero, ‐Low, and ‐Positive Expression in Breast Cancer and Exploring Model Interpretability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a Vision Transformer‐based DCE‐MRI model for the non‐invasive classification of HER2 expression in breast cancer, demonstrating robust performance across multicenter cohorts. By integrating transcriptomic analysis, the model reveals immune‐related pathway differences among distinct HER2 expression levels.

Personalized Medication for Chronic Diseases Using Multimodal Data‐Driven Chain‐of‐Decisions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A MDD‐CoD is proposed for personalized chronic disease medication. The framework simulates clinical chain‐of‐decisions through three linked deep learning tasks, validated on multi‐center datasets (3 hospitals, 4 diseases), demonstrating enhanced generalization and interpretability in cross‐disease applications.

Nanosensitizer for Cancer Radioimmunotherapy via Anti‐IL‐35 Blockade Boosted Innate Immunity Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zheng et al. designed a tumor microenvironment (TME)‐responsive nanosystem, HmBMH@MSA‐2. It targets tumors, releases MSA‐2 and Mn ions in high glutathione (GSH) conditions, achieving STING agonist delivery and MRI. The nanosystem promotes chemodynamic therapy (CDT), achieves radiosensitization, and activates the cGAS‐STING pathway.

Supramolecular Lubricating Hydrogel Microspheres Reshape Damaged Matrix Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The supramolecular lubricating hydrogel microspheres can provide stable mechanophysical protection at damaged matrix through interfacial hydration lubrication: in the early and middle stages, microspheres can actively provide microscale supramolecular lubrication (µ ≈ 0.04) for damaged matrix; in the late stage, the wear debris induced by shear and ...

Dedifferentiation and Transfer in Executive Function and Math Ability Following a Five‐Year Abacus Training in Schoolchildren

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
While cognitive development typically exhibits differentiation, marked by decreasing inter‐domain correlations, this study demonstrates that five‐year abacus training is associated with de‐differentiation of executive function and mathematical ability in school‐aged children.

Engineered Dual‐Function Antibody‐Like Proteins to Combat SARS‐CoV‐2‐Induced Immune Dysregulation and Inflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered antibody‐like proteins block the SARS‐CoV‐2 spike protein from binding to host receptors and suppress immune overactivation through an MBL‐based scaffold. These dual‐function proteins effectively alleviate inflammation, complement activation, and lung injury, offering a promising therapeutic strategy against severe COVID‐19 and its ...
