A technology roadmap for rehabilitation engineering

The 26th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2005
During September 2003, interviews took place to collect data to develop a technology roadmap for rehabilitation engineering. The emerging themes were used to create the roadmap. Criteria were developed to endorse the data prior to the representation process. Added value was by the collection and representation of supporting evidence.

Technology and Engineering

2000
Too often technology is seen as inferior to science, as a simple practical application of a self-sufficient "pure" knowledge. Such a dichotomy is for sure an illusion. The contributions met in this volume, reflecting the richness and the density of the session Science, Technology and Industry during the XXth International Congress of History of Science

Technological basis and technological cycle of competitive engineering

AIP Conference Proceedings
A set of interrelated activities implementing the competitive engineering (CI) design process is presented. The individual stages of the CE technological cycle are considered, as well as the compatibility of the stages and the limiting factors. These are factors leading to the acceleration of the process and those that hinder it.
