FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Zhongguo youzhi旨在为油脂体的开发利用提供参考，综述了油脂体的结构与组成及提取方法，并介绍了油脂体在食品中的应用现状。油脂体以三酰甘油酯为核心，外层由磷脂-蛋白质膜覆盖，其主要由中性脂质、蛋白质和磷脂组成，此外还含有一些次要生物活性成分。油脂体的提取方法有水剂法、双螺杆压榨法和水酶法，可依据实际情况选择合适的提取方法。油脂体的特定结构以及生物活性成分使其作为天然预乳化水包油乳液具有良好的稳定性和乳化性能，在制备仿乳制品、可食用膜、乳液-凝胶以及作为脂肪替代品和生物活性物质运输载体等方面具有广阔的应用前景 ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
