Data broadcasting - the ultimate push technology?

International Broadcasting Conference (IBC), 1997
The emerging standards for digital broadcasting are converging with new media developments geared for personal computers. Data broadcasting uses available digital broadcasting bandwidth and the PCs processing power and storage capacity to solve problems that publishers and broadcasters face trying to meet the demand for new media. However, broadcasting

79GHz Push-Push Oscillators in 0.13µm SiGe BiCMOS Technology

2008
This paper describes VCO designs based on varactor tuned Push-Push architecture. Two versions (powered under 1.2V and 1.8V) of the 79GHz oscillators have been designed in a 0.13µm SiGe BiCMOS technology, thus targeting automotive Radar and millimeter-wave applications. Their tuning ranges are respectively set on 6GHz (7.6%) and 7GHz (8.8%).

Stop pushing educational technology-pull

Proceedings Frontiers in Education 1995 25th Annual Conference. Engineering Education for the 21st Century, 2002
The school environment has not changed significantly since the middle ages. The next century, however, will see schools and education radically redefined in response to information technology. Computers can provide whole new dimensions to learning. The focus needs to change from how to teach the same things better to what needs to be learned.

Application of technology to push epidemiology forward

Osteoporosis International, 2009
The main strategy employed in the science of epidemiology is to evaluate associations (i.e., who, what, where, and when) with disease occurrence in an attempt to identify links with potentially preventable causes. When such associations are identified, they are pursued at increasingly finer levels of resolution in order to get at the underlying ...
