Synaptic Function in Memristor Devices for Neuromorphic Circuit Applications
Discover how neuromorphic devices mimic brain‐like learning: this article explores how ionic and electronic conduction processes enable artificial synapses to adapt across time scales. Uncover the essential ingredients—state‐variable dynamics, rectification, and memory—and how they can be probed through nonlinear diagnostics to engineer smarter, more ...

Plant‐Based Electrodes for Bioimpedance Readings of Fruit
Sustainable electronic materials derived from agricultural waste can ease waste management. Eco‐friendly conductors from tomato residues and biobased latex with conductive carbon fillers are obtained through simple water‐based procedures. These composites effectively read the bioimpedance of fruits, representing a sustainable alternative in green ...

The use of air stable but thermally labile molecules provides an efficient strategy for the N‐type doping of organic semiconductors with relatively low electron affinities. Design criteria for efficient dopants should also take into account diffusion and phase segregation that cannot be decoupled from thermally activated doping.

Strain‐Induced Polarization Rotation in Freestanding Ferroelectric Oxide Membranes
Combining piezoresponse force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and scanning transmission electron microscopy, the ferroelectric polarization of a Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 membrane is mapped in a fold‐like structure. A polarization rotation from out‐of‐plane to in‐plane is evidenced, occurring at a low strain threshold (≈0.2%), and is suggested to be entirely driven ...

Solvent Engineering for Scalable and Sustainable Fabrication of Lead‐tin Perovskite Solar Cells
Scaling up Pb‐Sn PSCs from the laboratory to an industrial scale requires addressing challenges related to scalable preparation technologies and solvent sustainability. This work introduces two innovative, low‐toxic solvent mixtures for a two‐step blade‐coating deposition process of the active perovskite layer, resulting in efficient and stable Pb‐Sn ...
