Photosynthetic microorganisms can be used to perform H2 evolution driven by light. However, a crucial limitationlies in the associated generation of molecular oxygen as a by‐product of photosynthesis, which compromises the activity of the biocatalyst performing H2 production, i.e., the hydrogenase.

A Multiepitope‐Based Lateral Flow Assay for Leprosy Antibodies

An innovative lateral flow assay for leprosy diagnosis is based on gold nanoparticles and synthetic Mycobacterium leprae epitopes conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin protein to enhance antibody detection. Graphical abstract of the characterization of Brazil nut flour (BNF) and the impact of its addition on the nutritional and sensory properties of gluten‐free and low‐sugar cookies. The results show that BNF contributed to an improved nutritional quality of the cookies and enhanced overall product acceptance.
