Immune Consequences of Metabolic Syndrome and Its Treatment: A Cytokine Perspective
Immunology, EarlyView.Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from individuals with metabolic syndrome (MetS) who were not using glucose‐and/or lipid lowering medication (GLLM) exhibited a broader cytokine production profile after in vitro antigen‐specific stimulation than PBMCs from individuals with MetS using such medications and from healthy donors.

Journal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.Both techniques were effective in treating multiple mandibular gingival recessions, resulting in a significant reduction in recession depth after 12 months.
