Small, Volume 21, Issue 40, October 9, 2025.Engineered superhydrophobic micropillars reduced A549 cell adhesion tenfold after 1 day of incubation via a plastron‐mediated physical repellency mechanism, independent of cell‐surface biochemical interactions. Microstructured surfaces outperformed nanostructures, providing the first experimental evidence of microscale superiority.
