Journal of Surgical Oncology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT The use of breast conservation surgery for early‐stage breast cancer is common, and adjuvant radiotherapy is often recommended to reduce the risk of ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence. Historical trials have used sequential boost techniques with favorable outcomes with reduction in local recurrence and acceptable cosmetic outcomes.
