Drug‐Induced Skin Lesions of Bilateral Lower Extremities in an Elderly Patient With Poorly Controlled Diabetes

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This study described a rare case of an 83‐year‐old man diagnosed with drug‐induced skin lesions of bilateral lower extremities after continuous self‐administration with clobetasol propionate ointment for eczema. AZD6738 (Ceralasertib) Enhances Trifluridine's Antitumor Effect in 5‐FU–Resistant Colorectal Cancer Cells

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Resistance to 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU) remains a major obstacle in colorectal cancer (CRC) treatment. Trifluridine (FTD), the active component of TAS‐102, exerts cytotoxicity through DNA incorporation and reportedly remains active in 5‐FU‐resistant tumors, though with limited clinical efficacy.

Endogenous Bornavirus‐Like Nucleoprotein 1 Regulates Cellular Processes and DNA Double‐Strand Breaks in U‐87 MG Glioblastoma Cells

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Glioblastoma (GBM) is a common brain cancer with a poor prognosis and a high recurrence rate. DNA damage repair plays a crucial role in GBM carcinogenesis and treatment resistance. Human endogenous bornavirus‐like nucleoprotein 1 (EBLN1) regulates cellular processes and genetic stability. However, the biological role of EBLN1 in GBM

Septal Release: A Targeted Surgical Strategy for Recurrent Epistaxis

open access: yesEye &ENT Research, Volume 3, Issue 3, Page 163-167, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Recurrent epistaxis is a common pediatric condition that is typically managed with conservative therapies, but a subset of patients require surgical intervention after treatment failure. We seek to describe the efficacy of septal release for refractory pediatric epistaxis patients. Objective To compare outcomes of septal release for
