Charge Injection and Transport in an Isoindigo‐Based Polymer Transistor

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents the charge injection and transport properties of field‐effect transistors based on an isoindigo‐bithiophene donor‐acceptor polymer semiconductor contacted with thiolated self‐assembled monolayer (SAM)‐functionalized electrodes. Temperature‐dependent contact characteristics are measured and simulated.

Non‐Uniform Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation for Low‐Complexity Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A diagnostic method for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) based on non‐uniform space‐time‐coding modulation is presented. Fault localization is achieved via amplitude‐only spectral measurements, eliminating the need for complex signal processing. A one‐to‐one mapping between harmonic components and RIS elements enables accurate detection.

Cooperative Atomic Mechanism of Emergent Tilted Magnetic Anisotropy

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals a novel atomic mechanism behind magnetic anisotropy, where single‐ion anisotropy at dilute atomic sites establishes a long‐range anisotropic magnetic order via exchange interaction. The resulting exchange‐induced anisotropy contributes comparably to the single‐ion anisotropy, offering a promising strategy for engineering magnetic ...

GeSn‐on‐Si Avalanche Photodiodes with High Responsivity and Low Dark Current

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
GeSn‐on‐Si avalanche photodiodes with up to 1.9% Sn are fabricated and characterized. They exhibit exceptionally low dark currents and achieve a record‐high responsivity of 14.7 A W−1 at 1550 nm. The image highlights the double‐mesa design and spectral performance, demonstrating the potential of complementary metal‐oxide‐semiconductor (CMOS)‐compatible
