Beyond Robodebt: Media Representations of Welfare and Fraud Before and After the Robodebt Royal Commission

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Australia's Robodebt scheme, an automated debt recovery program introduced in 2016, was exposed by the Robodebt Royal Commission (RC) as a serious failure of public administration and source of significant harm for thousands of Australians. Through a critical discourse analysis (CDA) of Australian news media, this study explores whether the RC'

Amplified Quantum Correlation via Dynamical Modulation in Qubit‐Qutrit System under Markovian and Non‐Markovian Noise

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This study proposes an innovative approach to strengthen and amplify entanglement in a hybrid qubit–qutrit system driven by a dynamic field. By analyzing the system's dynamics under both Markovian and non‐Markovian environments, we show that specific field values optimize entanglement.

The Passing of Print [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This paper argues that ephemera is a key instrument of cultural memory, marking the things intended to be forgotten. This important role means that when ephemera survives, whether accidentally or deliberately, it does so despite itself. These survivals,

Optimizing Detection Schemes for Broadband Pump‐Probe Microscopy

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, EarlyView.
Small spot sizes and broadband spectral coverage create unusual noise challenges for broadband pump‐probe microscopy. Analysis of probe and detector noise characteristics can provide strategies for mitigating these challenges. ABSTRACT Although similar to more commonly implemented single wavelength approaches, broadband pump‐probe or transient ...

C∞$$ {C}^{\infty } $$‐Structures for Liénard Equations and New Exact Solutions to a Class of Klein–Gordon Equations

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Liénard equations are analyzed using the recent theory of 𝒞∞‐structures. For each Liénard equation, a 𝒞∞‐structure is determined by using a Lie point symmetry and a 𝒞∞‐symmetry. Based on this approach, a novel method for integrating these equations is proposed, which consists in solving sequentially two completely integrable Pfaffian equations.

Strategic framing of novel ideas: How contestation shapes the evolution of novelty

open access: yesStrategic Entrepreneurship Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Research Summary Entrepreneurs use strategic framing to gain support for their novel ventures, products, and services. A key challenge entrepreneurs face is that audiences often contest frames that introduce novel ideas, especially when these ideas disrupt audiences' mental and business models.
