Abstract How do legislators' occupational backgrounds shape their ability to advance policy? We argue that politicians with professional experience are perceived as more credible in their areas of expertise and can more effectively persuade voters and peers. Economic Impact of Allergic Diseases and Asthma—The HEAD Pan‐European Registry

This registry‐based study demonstrates the substantial economic burden of allergic diseases across Europe with a high degree of heterogeneity between countries. Treatments and specialist visits are the primary drivers of healthcare costs. Asthma poses the highest disease burden.
