Phylogenetic placement of plant pathogenic Sclerotium species among teleomorph genera
Mycologia, 2010Phylogenetic analyses and morphological characteristics were used to assess the taxonomic placement of eight plant-pathogenic Sclerotium species. Members of this genus produce only sclerotia and no fruiting bodies or spores, so Sclerotium species have been difficult to place taxonomically.

Gonatobotrys simplex and its teleomorph, Melanospora damnosa
Mycological Research, 1989Perithecia of Melanospora damnosa occurred on corn (Zea mays) pith samples colonized by Fusarium subglutinans, causal agent of stalk rot of corn, and Gonatobotrys simplex, a contact mycopathogen. Single-ascospore isolates of M. damnosa produced G. simplex in culture. Crosses of compatible single-ascospore cultures of M.

Didymella pisi sp. nov., the teleomorph of Ascochyta pisi
Mycological Research, 2009The anamorphic pycnidial fungus Ascochyta pisi is one member of a species complex that causes Ascochyta blight of pea, a potentially devastating disease. The teleomorphic state of this fungus was induced under laboratory conditions. Using morphological and molecular characters, we placed the teleomorph within the genus Didymella as D. pisi and describe

Teleomorphs of Clasterosporium anomalum and C. cyperi
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1984Asterina anomala sp.nov. and Clasterosphaeria cyperi gen. et sp.nov. are described and illustrated as the teleomorphs of Clasterosporium anomalum and C. cyperi respectively. The position of Clasterosphaeria is discussed in relation to allied genera of ascomycetes.

Typification of Aspergillus and Related Teleomorph Genera
1986After a historical survey, the genus Aspergillus Mich. ex Link: Fr. is lectotypified by Aspergillus glaucus (Mich. ex L.: Fr.) Link. The monotype of the associated teleomorph-genus Eurotium Link: Fr. is Eurotium herbariorum (Wiggers: Fr.) Link. Two specimens preserved in Persoon’s herbarium in Leiden as Mucor herbariorum agree with the present concept ...

Teleomorphs of Cercospora sesami and Cercoseptoria sesami
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1985Teleomorph connexions of Mycosphaerella sesami sp. nov. with Cercospora sesami , and M. sesamicola sp. nov. with Cercoseptoria sesami are reported. Species of Cercospora and allied genera causing disease of Sesamum crops are described and a key provided.
