Three-dimensional ultrasonographic telepresence

We have developed a three-dimensional ultrasound telepresence system for remote consultation. Threedimensional ultrasound data-sets can be acquired by relatively unskilled operators. The data are stored in the remote unit and then transmitted to a consultant equipped with a similar unit.

Beaming: An Asymmetric Telepresence System

The Beaming project recreates, virtually, a real environment; using immersive VR, remote participants can visit the virtual model and interact with the people in the real environment.
