Integrating Enzymes with Photoredox Catalysis for Conversion of Nitriles into Fluorinated Products
Herein, we describe a novel method for producing highly sought‐after fluorinated compounds through the integration of nitrilase enzymes and iridium photoredox catalysis in a convenient one‐pot reaction. Our chemo‐ biocatalytic methodology delivers a range of fluorinated and fluoroalkylated products from simple nitrile precursors, in good yields, at ...

Mediated Futures in Anesthetic Space
Media are intimately connected to the future. They are simultaneously posited as encouraging speculation and foreclosing futures. Through an examination of the “canal craze” at the turn of the twentieth century in which the telescopic lens was believed ...

44 novel heterocycle fragments are prepared through a C–H functionalization strategy. Systematic variation of exit vectors and polar functionality provides a set of fragments that sit in attractive fragment chemical space. Abstract Saturated heterocycles are valuable fragments in drug discovery due to their polarity, 3D structure, and potential for ...

Research on Telescope TTL Coupling Noise in Intersatellite Laser Interferometry
The detection mission of gravitational waves in space is that the accuracy of the long-baseline intersatellite laser interferometry on the million-kilometer order needs to reach the order of $$8 \rm{pm}/\sqrt{\rm{Hz}}$$ 8 p m / H z .
