An Unprecedented Impulse‐Type Response of Ferroelectric Nematic Liquid Crystals under In‐Plane Switching

In‐plane switching liquid crystal (LC) displays incorporating a newly developed ferroelectric nematic LC exhibit fast impulse‐type transmission efficiency (TE) changes only when the polarity of the applied voltage is reversed. This novel phenomenon differs from the impulse‐type emission in the sense that the TE changes during an ON signal.

Sidewall Suppression and Top Surface Enhancement of Light Extraction Efficiency in Vertically Stacked Full‐Color Micro‐LEDs Based on L‐Shaped Metal Walls
