A species of Scutarcopagia Pilsbry, 1918 from Indonesia and the Philippines is described as new species. Other species in this genus are discussed. S. elizabethae (Pilsbry, 1918) from Hawaii and S. delicatula (Selli, 1974) from the Red Sea are at present regarded as synonyms of S. scobinata (Linnaeus, 1758) but herein restored as valid species.
