Adsorption of zinc on cadmium telluride and mercury telluride surfaces
Physical Review B, 1991Modifications of the surface properties of cadmium and mercury telluride due to the adsorption of zinc atoms are investigated. The bulk band structure is obtained by parametrizing the matrix elements in an empirical tight-binding Hamiltonian. A tellurium-terminated (111) surface is formed by introducing an infinite repulsive potential localized within ...

Vinyllithiums from butyl-vinyl tellurides and bis-vinyl tellurides
Tetrahedron Letters, 1989Abstract Butyl vinyl tellurides and bis-vinyl tellurides furnish vinyllithiums with retention of configuration in good yields upon treatment with n-butyllithium at −78°C.

Transport properties of indium-alloyed and indium telluride nanostructured bismuth telluride
Physical Chemistry Chemical PhysicsNatural endotaxial In2Te3 precipitates are formed within an n-type Bi2Te3 matrix with suppressed lattice thermal conductivity. The impact of simultaneous In alloying in Bi2Te3 is also evaluated via the effective mass model.

Adsorption on Cadmium Telluride and Mercury Telluride Surfaces
1991To investigate the adsorption properties of the Cadmium and Mercury Telluride surfaces, a model for adsorption on narrow gap semiconductors is set up. The adsorption of a Cs atom at an ‘atop’ site (over a single surface atom) and a Zn atom at a centered site (in the centre of three surface atoms) on Tellurium terminated surfaces are studied.
