Density fluctuations in the intermediate glass-former glycerol: a Brillouin light scattering study
Brillouin scattering has been used to measure the dynamic structure factor of glycerol as a function of temperature from the high temperature liquid to the glassy state.

TEMPERATURE CHARACTERISTICS FOR SPEED OF MOVEMENT OF THIOBACTERIA [PDF]
The speed of translatory movement of Beggiatoa alba is governed by temperature in such a way that between 5° and 33° the temperature characteristics µ = 16,100 and µ = 8,400 respectively obtain for the temperature ranges 5° to 16.5° and 16.5° to 33°. The "break" at 16°–17° is emphasized by the occurrence of a wider latitude of variation in speed above ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Influence of CaO Addition, FeO/SiO2 , and MgO/SiO2 on the Melting Characteristic Temperatures of FeO-SiO2-MgO-CaO System [PDF]
In order to decrease the oxidation temperature of fayalite in molten nickel slags, the influence of CaO addition, FeO/SiO2, and MgO/SiO2 on melting characteristic temperatures of FeO-SiO2-MgO-CaO system were investigated.

The analysis of diffusion controlled reactions with non-equal diffusivities of the reactatnts [PDF]
We show, using as a model problem the description of the reaction of a fuel pocket with the oxygen of the environment, how to derive a system of conservation equations to describe the evolution of the temperature and concentrations of the reactants, when
