Temporal Feature Modulation for Video Watermarking
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, 2009We propose two temporal feature modulation algorithms that extract a feature from each video frame and modulate the features for a series of frames to embed a watermark codeword. In the first algorithm, the existence of a frame is used as the frame feature, and a watermark codeword is embedded into the original video by skipping selected frames. In the

Spatio-temporal Good Features to Track
2013 IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision Workshops, 2013This paper presents two fundamental contributions that can be very useful for any autonomous system that requires point correspondences for visual odometry. First, the Spatio-Temporal Monitor (STM) is an efficient method to identify good features to track by monitoring their spatiotemporal (x-y-t) appearance without any assumptions about motion or ...

Temporal Parameters of the Feature Positive Effect
The American Journal of Psychology, 1979Trial duration and intertrial interval duration were parametrically varied between groups of pigeons exposed to a discrimination involving the presence vs. the absence of a dot. Half the groups received the dot as the positive stimulus (feature positive groups) and half the groups received the dot as the negative stimulus (feature negative groups ...

The Temporal Stability of Some Rorschach Features
Journal of Personality Assessment, 1978One hundred nonpatient adults, screened for evidence of personality disorganization, were retested after a three-year interval to study the temporal consistency of the Rorschach. In general, the correlational analysis for 19 basic variables studied, and a directionality analysis for five ratios, illustrate a considerable sturdiness over time.

Temporal Robust Features for Violence Detection
2017 IEEE Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV), 2017Automatically detecting violence in videos is paramount for enforcing the law and providing the society with better policies for safer public places. In addition, it may be essential for protecting minors from accessing inappropriate contents on-line, and for helping parents choose suitable movie titles for their children.

Temporal Feature Extraction from Temporal Information Systems
2003We present a framework for new feature extraction from temporal information systems. Such systems provide information about behaviour of object(s) in time and state of an object is described by some attributes. We propose a modification of Apriori algorithm for frequent episode detection across many series.

Temporal Feature Space for Text Classification
2017In supervised learning algorithms for text classification the text content is usually represented using the frequencies of the words it contains, ignoring their semantic and their relationships. Words within temporal expressions such as “ today ” or “ last February ” are particularly affected by this simplification: the same expression can have a ...

Contextual temporal features of the flash illusion
Proceedings of the ACM Symposium on Applied Perception, 2013Simultaneous processing of pieces of information spread in space and/or in time depends on multiple factors [Chatterjee et al. 2011]. Studies regarding the effects of context on the visual target perception are generally addressing the spatial variables. For a deeper understanding of contextual effects in the temporal domain this study is aimed to gain
