Efficiency Recalibrates Social‐Emotional Trade‐Offs Behind Partner Choice in Direct Reciprocity through Intention‐Specific Neural Bases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bridging the gap between two crucial mechanisms of cooperation, namely direct reciprocity and partner choice, this study reveals the neurocognitive bases underlying how individuals prioritize reciprocal partner when receiving help from multiple benefactors with diverse intentions and reciprocal efficiency. The efficiency‐driven reciprocal decisions are

Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation Neuromodulation in Elderly Individuals and Its Impact on Anxiety and Depression Symptoms

open access: yesAGING MEDICINE, EarlyView.
Anodal tDCS over the left prefrontal cortex, combined with cognitive training, enhanced cognition, reduced anxiety and depression, and improved motor response in elderly women. These findings support tDCS as a safe, effective strategy for promoting brain plasticity and mental health in aging.

Essential Updates 2024/2025: History, Pathogenesis, Definition, Prevention, and Management of Small‐for‐Size Syndrome in Living‐Donor Liver Transplantation

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Although living‐donor liver transplantation (LDLT) has become the standard treatment for end‐stage liver disease, one of its major challenges is small‐for‐size syndrome (SFSS). SFSS is characterized by severe icterus and intractable ascites, although the severity of the condition can vary.

A Literature Survey on Potential Private User Information Leakage in Metaverse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This survey explores potential privacy risks in the Metaverse, focusing on personal data inferred from virtual reality headsets embedded with passive brain‐computer interfaces (BCI). It reviews how age, gender, and ethnicity can be predicted using neurophysiological signals, (e.g., electroencephalogram). The survey also explores future threats from non‐
