Objective Race and household income impact outcomes in patients with rheumatic conditions; however, their role in pediatric antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)–associated vasculitis (AAV) remains poorly understood. We aimed to evaluate whether race and ethnicity and household income are associated with severe AAV disease and renal outcomes among

Anorectal Dysfunction in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Phenotypes and Functional Patterns
Objective The aim of this study was to characterize specific physiologic defects in anorectal dysfunction in systemic sclerosis (SSc) using anorectal manometry (ARM), evaluate associations with gastrointestinal (GI) and extraintestinal clinical phenotypes, and explore potential serologic markers for risk stratification.

Dynamic brain states during reasoning tasks: a co-activation pattern analysis
Brain activity exhibits substantial temporal variability during cognitive processes, yet traditional fMRI analyses often fail to capture these dynamic patterns.

Decoupling Hand and Mind in Abstract Temporal Reasoning: Variation in temporal gesture and temporal reasoning. [PDF]
Time is often conceptualized spatially. Some argue that this spatialization is essential for understanding time and should manifest reliably in temporal gesture. Here we ask whether people vary in their production of temporal gesture and what this variation might signal about abstract reasoning and communication.

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

CALENDAR+: in-context contrastive learning for temporal knowledge graph reasoning
Temporal Knowledge Graph (TKG) reasoning aims to infer future events from historical facts. Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) have shown that in-context learning can effectively enhance temporal reasoning.
