This review highlights biocatalytic prenylation as a versatile strategy for tailoring the functional properties of peptides and proteins. By comparing branched isoprenoids with linear lipids, we illustrate how specific prenyl architectures modulate the behaviors of lipidated proteins within membrane environments.

Coronal microleakage of various temporary fillings in standardized endodontic access cavities
Background and Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the coronal microleakage of various temporary fillings (TFs) in endodontic access cavities in extracted human teeth using a methylene blue dye penetration test. Materials and Methods: Standardized access cavities were prepared in 100 extracted human premolars. The teeth were then randomly divided

3D printing of fluorine‐free omniphobic surfaces
Our work demonstrates that the simple and inexpensive digital light processing three‐dimensional printing can be used to fabricate micropillar arrays with doubly reentrant and triply reentrant features. The printed fluorine‐free surfaces display omniphobicity and resist the wetting of liquids with a wide range of surface tensions.

Aluminum‐enhanced afterburning renders AE explosives more hazardous than conventional ones. Corrugated steel linings reduce far‐field AE blast overpressure by ~50% through wave reflection and dissipation. The developed model accurately predicts peak pressure (<10% error) and arrival time (<3% error), supporting protective design.
